4 Pin Button Wiring – Richard Reid
This question comes from Richard Reid.
Question
“In cases where you are using a push button for something, you always seem to use a push button that appears to have 2 pins. one pin is a ground, the other seems to be attached as an input.
The only push buttons that I have came with an Elegoo kit. they have 4 pins. …. I don’t understand how to properly set up a 4 pin button to do what you are teaching using a 2 pin button.”

Hint
None this time!

I have tried this using two different Arduino Uno R3’s and a breadboard and can not get it to work. The light on the Arduino at pin 13 stays light constantly. Power to either of the right side pins, one left side pin to digital pin 2, the other to ground (tried both the ground next to the 5v pin and next to pin 13. Any suggestions?
