DFRobot Pirate 4WD Mobile Platform Reveiw for Arduino

If you want to build a mobile robot and not spend all your time designing and creating the locomotion portion of the robot, then the DFRobot Pirate mobile platform maybe one route to take.

      I hear you AJ. I think that SparkFun sells an acrylic chassis robot that is more affordable, but you still need all the electronics…

        Well most people in this already have arduino or other mircrocontrollers,
        in that case instead of dropping 15-30 $$ on a motor shield you could make your
        own for a few dollars using the TIP120 high power transistor. . .
